Well What is life ? it is really difficult to find an answer to this question Scientists, philosophers , writers , artists, layman's, poets , novelists have pondered over this question for centuries but got nothing in return. Why so , is it that difficult to think about the Life & why we are living through it? Einstein once said 'God does not play Dice' to illustrate the magnanimity & self sustaining structure of this Universe which in all it's totality does seem true.
God is a mere creation of human beings & I am a firm believer that there is no God but super natural Human Being or Someone who has the key to the Universe & he is not confined by 4 Dimensions (3 on earth one in space-time) he has created these Dimensions so that no one can dare to escape out of it, even thinking about more dimensions (String Theory) is very difficult.
Hawkings wrote in 'Universe in a Nutshell' that 'Time is a force to recon with we can not beat time but what is most difficult not only to comprehend but to realize are these Dimensions as our Neurons are groomed in such a way we can not think about other Dimensions '- That is the limitation imposed by Someone & yes it looks like very much the case.Think about a very Giant individual approximately the size of 120 ~ 250 AU for that Individual Earth is a one dimensional tiny dot but it's not, in the same way string theory says that there are more dimensions than what we can see.
What ever is going on is not normal as Human beings have significantly more intelligence than any other animal/species although these animals/species have been on this planet far longer then us.Modern Human being (Homo-Sapien) is said to have a Time span of 10 Lakh ( 1 Million) Years whereas Crocodiles have been on Earth since Jurassic era (25 Crore years ~ 250 Million years approximately) Why then there is such a difference in intellect? although Darwin did put some light on this through his very famous theory of 'Evolution' like carrying only intelligent Genes or through Natural Selection or through 'Survival of the fittest' but then why natural selection was not able to find even one more species apart from Human beings ? we Know that there are 1 Billion odd different species in this world !!! It does not sound plausible to me that there was not even a single species which faced same difficulties as Human beings which were forced to develop intellect, although Nature IS NOT AT ALL interested in it, for Nature it is all about Survival & reproduction.
Now coming back to Life what Life is ? It has different meaning for different individuals for some it is merely going to office & doing their work & then coming back & then spending some time with Family/Girlfriend/Boyfriend/Wife etc but for some other 'type' of individuals, it is a great way to DO SOMETHING (apart from these usual things which should be part of your life but it should not be YOUR LIFE) so that when we are about to Die (Yes I am Talking about Death - Which will be there wherever You will be) we can say that we did something to make this life worth living & What will happen after life is another Question altogether !!!
Science & Religion are two different roads leading to the same destination. The reason why it is bit easier to accept Science as a real 'thing' is that we can see/calculate/postulate the results as these are observable/calculable, whereas religion is more of a written Diktat which can not be amended/Questioned or observed/Proved.
According to a popular Philosophical Theory 'Brain in a vat' It was theorized that if we connect 1 Billion odd Neurons with a super computer & if we keep that in a vat & then if that super computer sends signals to the Brain to think that it is not in a vat it is driving a car, Brain will not have any reason/way do doubt it Now this argument is really undeniable which could very much be the case, the 'matter' 'time' 'space' 'dimensions' could be some think else altogether.Another Theory 'Dream Argument' is pretty much the same & any 'Solipsist' can tell you that what it feels like thinking about self being only' as they believe, 'I am' Because 'I think' 'I am' It's all in the Brain - Which is one of the World's most complex biological 'Thing'.
There is one liner in Punjabi which is coming to my Mind by Shiv Kumar ' Eih Sar Kinne ku Dunnge ne, Kise Ne haath na Paaya' Is very Much True............
Enough Blah-Blah for today.
